It was yet another result for Kenny Bundy’s side that didn’t help them in their search for a playoff spot. The team was coming off of two draws that saw them lose in the penalty shootouts.

Tate Lampman, who has been injured for a majority of this season, made his first start of the campaign. He definitely adds some depth to the Dynamo backline.

Houston had their first chance of the day in the 11th minute when Kieran Sargeant’s header went just wide. It was Ifu Achara who made a move inside the box, but in the end, the chance was ineffective.

In the 24th minute, a lucky deflection found Ryan Becher, and the St. Louis player was able to give the home side a lead.

Shortly after, in the 28th minute, Xavier Valdez denied Cam Willey of a goal with a nice save. That was Xavier Valdez’s only save due to there being only two shots on target the entire match.

The last true chance for the Dynamo in this match was in the 55th minute with Diego Gonzalez almost scoring from long range. However, the ball went just wide.

The rest of this match was lacking in action from both sides with the Dynamo being shut down in every phase of play. In the third minute of stoppage time, Ousmane Sylla had a chance, but it was saved by the goalkeeper.

DynaDos will return home and try to break away from this rut against Colorado Rapids 2 on June 23. Tickets are free and available down below.
