Whether you are a first-time fan or a USL veteran, we put together a neat guide to learn everything there is about this weekend’s upcoming action! Stay tuned as we release some feature stories later this week about each of the team’s playing!
Who is Playing in the USL Championship Final
The Charleston Battery will be facing off against Phoenix Rising FC. The Battery are one of the oldest teams in the league and will be looking to win their fifth league title (first since 2012). Meanwhile, the Phoenix Rising were founded in 2014 as Arizona United SC and finished as runners-up in 2018 and as finalists in 2020 (no championship was awarded).
Where is the USL Championship Final
This year’s USL Championship final will be held at Patriot’s Point Soccer Complex in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The home of the Charleston Battery, Patriots Point holds up to 5,000 and is a short drive across the Ravenel bridge from historic downtown Charleston.
If you are flying in for the final, be advised to try and arrive as early as possible (and carpool) because US-17 traffic is not to be trifled with and there are limited routes/public transportation into Mount Pleasant. Parking is limited but available at the Point and several lots in the area (such as the USS Yorktown Museum).
When is the USL Championship Final
The final is on Sunday, November 12th, 2023 at 7pm EST.
How can I Watch the USL Championship Final?
You can buy tickets right now from SeatGeek to watch the final in person at Patriot’s Point. The get-in price at the time of writing is $85 in the standing-room-only supporter’s section. If you’re looking for actual seats, $128 is currently the lowest available price.
There will be watch parties for Phoenix Rising FC fans at Walter Station Brewery in Phoenix, Arizona and we will update this article if watch parties in Charleston are announced. Normally, games are broadcast at Kickin Chickens in the Lowcountry.
