?Joshua Kimmich is currently in favour of not renewing his contract with Bayern Munich which expires next summer, Barcelona is his preferred destination should he decide to leave, Bayern has a choice to either renew his contract this summer or sell him or they might lose him for free, Barcelona were interested in Kimmich last summer as Xavi is a massive fan of the player.

?The signing/arrival of Vitor Roque in the January transfer window is looking a bit doubtful as Barcelona has yet the solve the financial fair play issue, there is still some time left this shouldn't be a concern yet as Deco has promised Xavi to do everything possible for the Brazilian to be part of the squad come February.

Barcelona is considering switching their priority movement in the January transfer window and signing a new pivot for the team, Oriol Romeu isn't living up to expectations so far and has been underperforming especially in the big matches, and with no depth in that position, the club see it as a necessity to reinforce and have identified Florentino Luís as one of the top options.
