12 - Stephen Hofer

This week on USL, we head back to USL League 2 to share the tale of the Utah Avalanche. The club started as a girls’ youth club back in 2001, but now finds themselves starting USL League 2 play in 2024 aided by a deep history of youth development and the influx of male players in the Utah area. Head coach Stephen Hofer joined us to chat about the move to USL League 2, the deep history of the club, soccer in Utah, and scouting college players.
