The possibility of Nico Williams and Dani Olmo both being signed is unlikely but it doesn’t mean Deco won’t at least try. It will depend on how Barça operates under the 1-1 rule in the market and departures in the forward position. Barca sees the Dutch youngster as a priority over Bernardo Silva and admires his ability to play as an interior, false left winger and second striker. The club believes that they have to go for him. The club is confident that it's possible if the player pushes. Robert Lewandowski only wants to continue at Barcelona. He is very comfortable in the club and the city and his intention is none other than staying at Barça for one or two more years. Raphinha’s top priority is to stay at the club, however, Raphinha does not completely close the door for an exit as he’ll only contemplate one if he receives an irrefutable offer economically and sportingly specifically from a Premier League team.

Barcelona beat Real Sociedad by two goals to nil at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium in Montjuïc. The blaugrana side managed to take advantage of Girona's slip-up last week to regain second place. Slow start to the game but we managed to get the vital three points. Good and poor cameos all round. Overall big win and we now focus on the last three games of the season.

Barcelona will take on Real Sociedad at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium in what is an important and stuff match up for the blaugrana side. The Catalan side continues to fight to finish second in La Liga and have been given a lifeline following Girona dropping points against Depotivo Alaes on Friday. Real Sociedad continues to fight to secure a European spot for next season. Xavi said in his press conference this morning that the team is excited to prove that it is capable of beating Real Sociedad and rising after the Girona match to regain second place, we have another chance now. Overall if I'm being honest I've lost all confidence in this team, especially with reports suggesting the players aren't motivated, with this being a home game there could be a bit more of an incentive but confidence is on the floor, will see if they can turn the switch because we must finish second.

Joshua Kimmich or Martín Zubimendi is the big decision Barcelona have to make in case they are able to make such a signing. They are the two pivots Xavi likes the most and Barça is already moving to see if they can sign one of them. Barcelona are pushing for Xavi Simons, who wants to decide his future with PSG before the Euro. PSG don’t want to sell him now. A loan is the most likely option. For Deco. Araujo and Raphinha are the two players with the highest possibility of leaving in the summer. Xavi doesn’t see Vitor Roque as a strong option for the Starting XI or even as an obvious backup option, he feels Roque has to meet the club and decide, Barcelona is asking Vitor Roque to be calm. They plan to find a solution at the end of the season.

????So What's the fix?
1: Well Jennifer got her wish with Saba playing on the left. But as soon as we put one of our more creative and dynamic players on the left, we played predominantly on the right. That was confounding especially when one of our best early chances came off the left.
2: We are not utilizing Thiago to full effect and he’s also not at his absolute best. Apart from that incredible ball he whipped in for GG he’s just not in possession in key dangerous areas where he can attract multiple defenders creating space for others. He’s drifting, trying to find the game.
3: Once again we give up a soft goal from a reset of play. In fairness, we’re really missing a 6’5” Norwegian in those situations but that’s no excuse. And once again we conceded immediately after conceding. We’re so easily exploited and teams know it.
4: Our one goal came off some quick direct counter play. Sure would be nice if we did that more often.
5: Gonzo is a really smart guy. He’s a student of the game. He’s very detail oriented. He knows every little detail about every opponent we face. It’s really impressive. But for unknown reasons, all of his knowledge is not translating to performance results and sooner rather than later it’s going to become untenable.
