Barcelona absolutely batter Getafe at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium
by four goals to nil. It was a dominant performance from the blaugrana that saw them rise to second place in La Liga for the time being. Raphinha, Joao Felix, Frenkie de Jong, and Fermin Lopez all got on the scoresheet. The performance was solid, definitely wasn't perfect/champagne football, we played to counter Getafe tactical approach. Overall, it was a great afternoon and now we all focus on the San Mamas next weekend.

Barcelona will take on Getafe at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium in what is an important match for the league standing. The blaugrana side is coming off the back of a good performance and average result against Napoli in the Champions League which hopefully will give the players some confidence and momentum. We are still in the race to finish second in La Liga despite our poor run of form. Getafe hasn't been too bad this season picking up big results but sitting around mid-table in the league. Xavi said in his press conference this morning that we are playing at home and we need the fans, we need their support. Tomorrow is a very important match against Getafe, they are very well trained by Bordalás. Overall the priority has to be revenge for the first game of the season but it won't come easy, Getafe was fresh and dangerous while we played in Italy 48 hours ago, with rotation expected to make the tie more challenging but most win nonetheless.

?Barcelona has enquired to Alphonso Davie's agent on the availability of the Canadian left-back in the following transfer market, the club has been following Davies since his days in the MLS and now his contract is running down with Bayern Munich, nothing no concrete interest. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is one of the options to reinforce the left wing in the summer as the club sees it as one of the priorities, in a poor Napoli side he hasn't done too badly but the current Seria A champions will be asking for a huge transfer fee which Barcelona probably can't afford. Joshua Kimmich is currently in favour of not renewing his contract with Bayern Munich which expires next summer, Barcelona is his preferred destination should he decide to leave, Bayern has a choice to either renew his contract this summer or sell him or they might lose him for free, Barcelona were interested in Kimmich last summer as Xavi is a massive fan of the player. Barcelona is in the market for a new manager come the summer as Xavi has announced his decision to leave the club at the end of the season, Joan Laporta and Deco are tasked with finding a new manager which won't be easy as the market is quite limited, at the moment the favourite is Hansi Flick alongside Thomas Tuchel, Roberto De Zerbi is liked but difficult to sign.
