GRATEFUL: Aodhan Quinn's ACL Journey | An Indy Eleven Docuseries | Part 2
Aodhan Quinn is one of the greatest players in USL Championship history. He is one of two players with 50 goals and 50 assists, he has over 250 appearances and is 2nd all-time in minutes played. In 2023 he tore his ACL and meniscus, sidelining him long-term for the first time in his career. This is the story of his journey back to full health and back onto the pitch. Episode 1 tells the story of the day he was injured and the emotions attached to an event like that. Aodhan's support system, namely his wife Brooke, details perspective of that day and the struggles their family faced as a repercussion. Aodhan pushes through rehab and runs for the first time since surgery. But as complications arise, he is sometimes left wondering just how much this injury will set him back.
Tumi Moshobane of El Paso Locomotive FC joins the show! The South African midfielder chats with me about how Texas reminds him of home, the end of the San Diego Loyal, his path through USL League Two and USL League One, how it led him to the USL Championship, and how the 2010 World Cup changed African soccer.

The former USMNT midfielder spent eight years in Major League Soccer with Real Salt Lake, Orlando, Colorado, and Houston before playing Mexico and Czechia before returning to the US to play in USL League One, two years with Omaha, but now with Spokane in their first year.
