Joan Laporta has spoken to the media publicly backing the current Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez, the president states that it is very unlikely for him to sack Xavi at any point during the season but once we reach the end he will be judged on how he's done and what he's won and if it isn't up to standards it could lead to his firing. Alejandro Balde's recent lack of minutes in the first team has led to a premier league team making a big offer to the club to sign Balde during the summer, at the moment Barcelona aren't considering the offer as they see Balde as the future left back and Alejandro himself isn't interested in a move currently. Bayern Munich has been shut down with the chance to sign Ronald Araujo in the upcoming transfer window but won't give up hope and will try to sign him in the summer, Barcelona wants to renew his deal before June amid interest from Bayern and wants to seal an important player's future long term.
