The women’s playoff appearance was celebrated by the folks of Aurora, Illinois and the men out-performed every other Chicagoland club on their first attempt. Charlie was named USL League Two Coach of the Year in 2023 when he led Chicago City to the USL2 Playoffs. He talked about leading both clubs at once, what he learned about himself, and River Light’s successful first year.
