Barcelona returned to action following their humiliating result in the Spanish Super Cup final and now switched focus to the Copa Del Rey as they will face third-division side Unionistas de Salamanca in the round of 16. Similar to last season, the blaugrana got the easiest draw possible as they drew the worst/lowest-ranked team left in the competition. Ceuta is currently mid-table in the Spanish third division but is having a miracle run in the King's Cup. Xavi said in his press conference this morning that there are 3 titles left. Confidence is what Laporta has conveyed to us. He is very optimistic. Overall this should be without a doubt a walk in the park for Barcelona, going into extra time and conceding would be shameful, losing would be the biggest disgrace I've ever witnessed, and even our B team has the capability to beat them, absolutely no excuse whatsoever in any way shape or form not to qualify for quarter-finals, especially after what happened last weekend there is absolutely zero room for error.

Join me! As I travel to watch the USMNT at the CONCACAF Nations League Finals in Dallas, Texas!

In this episode, we open with a match preview from USMNT legend Stuart Holden ahead of the semi final between the USA and Jamaica. The Reggae Boyz take a shock lead as we talk to AFTV’s Cecil Jee Thomas. An own goal in the 96th minute saves the USMNT, leading to extra time. In extra time Haji Wright plays hero as the USMNT advance to yet another classic final against Mexico.

In between the semi final and final we attend the Copa America playoffs at FC Dallas Stadium. The first match sees Canada earn their place in this summer's tournament with a win over Trinidad and Tobago. In the second playoff a packed stadium cheers on Honduras to an early lead over Costa Rica. It was not to be for Los Catrachos however as Los Ticos booked their spot in the Copa America.

Finally the main event as USA looks to extend their dominance over Mexico. The US supporters section is loud and represents well in spite of an overwhelmingly pro Mexican crowd. This support is rewarded as Tyler Adams lashes a ball from well outside the box past Guillermo Ochoa. The USMNT seal the win with a goal from Giovanni Reyna for that famous scoreline again. Following the departure of Xavi Hernandez at the end of the season as the Barcelona manager, it's now confirmed that the Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto is expected to leave as well with his contract running down, Xavi was a big defender of Roberto but with the manager now leaving the club management won't offer Roberto a renewal. The future of Robert Lewandowski at Barcelona is in question, with his performances dropping off and his wages set to increase next season a discussion needs to be made, Lewandowski himself wants to continue with the project and feels his work isn't don yet but the club are undecided. Barcelona sporting director Deco conducted an interview with La Vanguardia discussing all the news and decision that he will be taking over the next few months ahead of the summer transfer window. Raphinha and Marc Andre Ter Stegen returned to first-team training on Sunday and are expected to receive the medical green light ahead of Sunday's match vs. Granada, a big boost for the squad and Xavi.
