Barcelona picked up a crucial win in the Champions League against Porto at the Estádio do Dragão. Ferran Torres's goal just before halftime secured three vital points for the Blaugrana. This was on par with one of the worst performances of the season, we lacked control of the midfield and couldn't pass the ball to save our lives. Credit for the defence performance of course keeping a clean sheet away in the UCL is always tough but the problem is we made it tough ourselves. Overall we will take the win and that essentially secures the top of the group finish as we walk away with a victory in the most difficult group game.

Barcelona is beginning to create a list of pivots to target in the upcoming transfer windows, so far they've identified Martin Zubimend, Ederon, and Bruno Guimarães as their main options and continue to watch Gabriel Moscardo and Mats Wieffer as well, it remains to be seen who the priority will be but the options are becoming more clear. The arrival of Vitor Roque in the January transfer window remains in doubt as the club is still waiting for the money from the sale of Barca Studio from Libero Football Finance, the end-of-year friendly match will generate much-needed revenue but isn't enough to register Roque. There have been reports in the Turisk Media suggesting that Galatasaray is tempting Ilkay Gundogan to make a move to the Super Lig and the German midfielder is considering it, however, his agent has denied this insane report. Barcelona suffer yet another injury blow during international duty and it's Marc Andre Ter Stegen who's pulled out due to a back injury, test to be performed later on today but the signs are mostly positive, Inaki Pena is ready to step in if needed.

Barcelona has almost agreed terms with Guido Rodriguez who is a free agent and will be leaving Real Betis, Because of FFP, the club still needs to wait to understand how they can make this move happen, the club will obviously look at others ‘top’ names for that position giving the opportunity arises depending on FFP. eco sees a reinforcement on the left wing as a priority and some of the players in his notebook are Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Nico Williams. Ansu Fati has not lost hope and is more convinced than ever that his place is at Barça and that the dream of succeeding as a Blaugrana can still be real, if Barça is not able to generate enough fair play this summer, taking into account that the priority of Xavi and the sports area is a pivot and a left-winger in addition to re-registering Gavi, Vitor Roque could leave on loan.
