Barcelona is making movements in order to bet on the future players at the club, one of those names is Lucas Bergvall whom the club has submitted an offer to Djurgårdens IF Fotboll, Bergvall is keen on the move and it's just now down to the two clubs reaching an agreement, with Barca set to miss out on Claudio Echeverri they want to get the Swedish player signed. The club is planning to bring back both Chadi Riad and Pablo Torre in the first team next season, Torre will return when his loan expires and Barcelona will use there buy back option to bring back Riad, this could lead to a sale of one of the current defenders such as Jules Kounde and Andreas Christensen. Xavi has lost confidence in Oriol Romeu as he doesn't trust him to play in the team anymore, an exit in January wouldn't help Barcelona at all so he might end up surviving until the summer but the manager doesn't back the pivot for the remainder of the season. The club might be looking to move on both Robert Lewandowski and Joao Felix as keeping them beyond this summer would cost the club a significant amount of money.

The club is considering the sale of Oriol Romeu this summer after a very poor past month at the club, it's evident that Romeu can't compete at the high level and struggles when teams overrun him, he also is struggling with a knee problem that prevents him from playing frequently, Girona is interested in re-signing him. Barcelona has been approached by multiple companies to become the new shirt sponsor, Barcelon has been with Nike since 1998 and wants to renegotiate their deal together, if they can't find an agreement the club is ready to look for other options.

Barcelona is finalizing their official bid for Swedish wonderkind midfielder Lucas Bergvall, the deal will reach about ten million euros package including variables, Eintracht Frankfurt is a strong contender but Bergvall himself wants the move to Catalan as the deal is on the verge of completion. Mikayil Faye has attracted a lot of interest in the final few days of the transfer window as a bid for up to nine million euros was submitted but rejected by Barcelona as they see the player's future either as part of the first team or sell him for more money in the summer. Joao Felix suffered an ankle sprain on Tuesday ahead of the match against Osasuna which will leave him out for a few weeks, his participation in the UCL match against Napoli is in doubt.

Marc Andre Ter Stegen and Barcelona have decided together that the German goalkeeper will undergo surgery for his back pain as he hasn't been responding to the conversation treatment, his time will be around two months, and the club will not go into the market for an emergency keeper and will trust in Inaki Pena till Ter Stegen return. Yet another referee scandal occurred last Sunday as Barcelona was fined for preventing the referee from hearing what was being said in the Barcelona dressing room at halftime during the Atletico Madrid matchup.
