Barcelona is pushing heavily to sign one of the best midfielders in La Liga from a direct rival in Aleix Garcia, the club is planning to offer players to Girona to reduce the fee as he has a twenty million euro release clause, the deal is advanced, Deco is also keeping an eye on Douglas Luiz. The club will have to make a move soon in regards to Estevão Willian, Messinho, many top clubs want him but the player and his family want a move to Barcelona. Vitor Roque has finally arrived in Barcelona, the player is getting integrated and completed his medical a few days ago, he's also done a lot of work with the media, and his presentation is expected to take place on Wednesday. Barcelona is highly considering breaking their contract with Nike early as the club's main shirt sponsor, the productivity and communication with Nike are at an all-time low and the financial aspect is also lacking behind the top clubs in the world, Puma is making a big push to be the new sponsor of Barcelona and come 2025 they have a genuine chance to become it. Pedri's injury concerns continue as he's now expected to be for the month of January, missing the Super Cup, the injury he suffered was picked up in training before the Almeria match and it's the same leg where he had his injury earlier in the season, he replaced.

Barcelona beat Shakhtar Donetsk at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys by a very close two to one scoreline. Goals from Ferran Torres and man of the match Fermin Lopez secured the three points for the blaugrana. It wasn't the best performance from the team as they struggle to cope with all the injuries but credit to Shakhtar who played well. Overall job done and three wins out of three in the champions league.

Mateu Lahoz even recalled that in key moments he hurt Barça with some of his decisions. Barcelona proposed to Inter Miami about a possible friendly match following the signing of Luis Suarez and current players Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba being linked with the club but Inter Miami rejected the proposal.

Barcelona beat Real Sociedad at the Anoeta Stadium with a last-second goal from Ronald Araujo. The blaugrana played their worst match in years which wasn't convincing. Sociedad dominated the game and created about seven clear-cut chances but Marc Andre Ter Stegen came in clutch with huge saves. Overall it's unbelievable we've managed to set three points but it shouldn't shadow the poor performances.
